Executive Leadership Team
Mr. David Fuller, Director of Schools
Mr Fuller was appointed Director of Schools in September 2009, after having been Executive Headteacher for the previous two years. Before joining Hasmonean, he was Headteacher of several schools
including independent schools, maintained special schools and
maintained secondary schools. He has led intervention teams in
several different schools and in four city academies, all of which were facing challenging circumstances. He is an accredited
National Leader of Education and is Executive Headteacher of a national challenge school in the Midlands.

Rabbi David Meyer, Executive Headteacher
Rabbi Meyer was appointed Executive Headteacher of Hasmonean in September 2009, after having been Head of the Boys' School. He has qualifications in Jewish Studies and Education and an MBA in Marketing.
At Hasmonean, he founded the Department for Informal Jewish Education and devised and implemented the Sixth Form Jewish Studies Programme.
He is the Rabbinical Director of the Jewish Association for Business Ethics, and co-authored the Money & Morals curriculum.
He was a senior lecturer on the Aish Hatorah Discovery seminar, has developed curricula for Yad Vashem and directed the Israel Fellowships programme. He is a regular international guest speaker.

Mr Andrew McClusky, Headteacher, Boys' School
Mr McClusky was appointed Acting Headteacher of the Boys' School in September 2009. He joined the school in 2003, and, as Director of Learning for English, led the department through an Ofsted inspection where the subject was rated "outstanding".
He has held positions as Assistant Headteacher and Acting Deputy
Headteacher with responsibility for the curriculum, and recently introduced the new Key Stage 4 enrichment curriculum.
He has responsibility for Hasmonean's two specialisms in Business and Enterprise and as a Leadership Partner School, and regularly supports schools in challenging circumstances.

Mrs Rachel Fink, Headteacher, Girls' School
Mrs
Fink was appointed Acting Head of the Girls' School in February 2010.
She joined the Science Department at Hasmonean in 2002 and was appointed Assistant Head Teacher responsible
for Student Development and Pastoral Care in 2009. Before joining Hasmonean, Mrs
Fink taught at the Amit High School in Bet Shemesh Israel for 7 years.
A graduate in Chemistry from UCL, Mrs Fink holds a teaching certificate from
Michlalah Jerusalem College for Women, which she converted to QTS on joining
Hasmonean. Mrs Fink is an Ashdown Fellow and a qualified MEP teacher. She
is currently studying for an MA in Jewish Education at King's College,
London.

Mrs Beverley Perin, Head of Educational Strategy
Mrs Perin has been at Hasmonean since 1998, and was Headteacher of the Girls' School from 2006 until early 2010. Before coming to Hasmonean, she was Head of Foreign Languages in a state comprehensive school in Hertfordshire. She is a primary and secondary school Ofsted inspector, and a Pikuach inspector and Quality Assurance Reader. She is also an accredited School Improvement Partner and currently advises two schools in Birmingham.
In 2009, Mrs Perin was awarded an MBA in International Educational Leadership from the University of Hull.

Rabbi Barry Katz, Director of Jewish Studies, Boys' School
Rabbi Katz, Director of Jewish Studies in the Boys' School, joined the
Executive Leadership Team in October 2009. He received his Semicha at
Gateshead Yeshiva and joined Hasmonean in 1985. He has directed the
Jewish Studies Department and overseen many innovative programmes within its
structure. The JS Department was rated as 'excellent' in the last Pikuach
inspection. As well as helping with the strategic leadership of the school,
he is supporting Mr McClusky, Acting Headteacher.

Mr Julian Curzon, Head of Business & Finance
Mr Curzon has been at Hasmonean since 1996 in his role as Head of Business and Resources. He came to the school from the International Financial Services Industry. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
