Hasmonean High School is a centre of educational excellence serving the Orthodox Jewish Community of North-West London. Boys and girls are taught separately on two sites. Our school combines the secular with the religious within a framework of Torah Im Derech Eretz (respect for others, both within the school community and in the wider world). Academic rigour is combined with in-depth Torah study, incorporating values such as chesed (caring, kindness) and tzedokah (charity).

Hasmonean is among the best performing comprehensive schools in the country: our students attain consistently high standards in their GCSE, A/S and A Level examinations. The vast majority of our graduates proceed to study in world-class yeshivas and seminaries, before pursuing university education and a wide variety of careers.

We have a first-class staff dedicated to making our school a pleasant and purposeful place for students, where high expectations and high standards are the norm.

Hasmonean High School is a specialist Business and Enterprise School and a Leadership Partner School. The school has been awarded High Performing School status by the Department for Children, Schools and Families; has been accredited with the Investors in People Standard, and has achieved the Customer Service Excellence award (the Cabinet Office quality mark for public services).

David Fuller, Director of Schools at Hasmonean, is a National Leader of Education and the school has been designated a National Support School.
