FAQ

My GCSE grades are lower than expected. What do I do?

  • You can look through the Sixth Form brochure to see which subject(s) will accept you with the grades you have.  This will involve you having to make changes to your original choices.  If you achieved 5 A* – Cs, there are a range of AS-Levels and BTECs available for you to choose.
  • If you have failed to achieve 5 A* – D passes, then the vocational pathway is an option for you. This includes the Beis programme, the BTEC in Work Skills, which involves a work placement, and the possibility of other BTECs, if suitable.
  • Please note that the criteria for each subject are strict.
